I see in you
A beauty that takes my breath away
A smile that lingers in my head all day
And a seemingly perfect personality

I wish I could only break through
Through an invisible barrier
And get to know you more
And for you to know me more

I wish I could proclaim to you
About how much your persona captivates me
But if I did now, you would run in fear
As I am almost unknown to you

I wish for the one chance
If it has not already passed me by
To begin to make my dreams come true
And to have that chance with you

*sigh* This is something I've needed to be getting off my chest for a while now. This gets it off somewhat..I guess all I can do now is see if things work out... I know this sounds very desperate, and that's something I need to work against not being (at least openly), but sometimes its just too much to keep bottled up inside.

It does sound quite honest. I like how you have three wishes, and three descriptive lines to a wish. Very cool. I do hope things get better for you.

That doesn't sound desperate at all. When you see beauty, you're captivated by it. I think it's really sweet. Awesome poem; it's really touching and romantic. ^^;

The use of through two times in a row bothers me, since they are really right next to each other. But besides that, this is an awesome poem
